Green Co. Calgary Has Gone Out of Business
This is not considered a scam yet. We would like to let everyone who has bought the DealFind Deal from Green Co. Calgary know that we have overheard that Green Co. Calgary has gone out of business. Anyone who still has un-redeemed vouchers for the deal is encouraged to contact DealFind right away to get a full refund.
A recap of the deal, it was $59 for 4 Hours of Professional Home or Office Cleaning From Green Co. ($300 Value) posted on April 6. A total of incredible 1,853 vouchers have been sold and it was listed as one of the business success stories by DealFind. You can do the math, 1853 x 4 hours = 7412 hours. Assuming they can carry four tasks at the same time, it will take them almost one whole year to handle all the DealFind vouchers. And do you know almost all deals run through DealFind are really under cost? Take this Professional Home or Office Cleaning deal as an example, it is 80% off regular price of $300 (well, it’s claimed) selling for $59. Out of $59, Green Co. Calgary will need to give up about 50% plus some process fee to DealFind. At the end, Green Co. will only get back around $25 for a 4 hours service. This is much less than the legal minimum wage in Alberta! So if you are lucky enough to have bought and also used services that are so cheap, luck you! If you did buy the vouchers but haven’t had a chance to use it, take it easy, you are surely not alone! In this Green Co. case, there are hundreds of victims, some of them don’t even know they have become a victim!
I’ve heard someone said any small businesses will go out of business after running a deal at DealFind. I don’t know if that is true. I suspect some small business owners would run some deals before they close down, in order to grab some fast cash. In that case, it should be considered as a scam.
